The very lovely Caitlin Shearer told me to check the website out and it was love at first site! I don't know what else to say other than these are the most wonderful timber brooches and buttons I've ever laid eyes on and I want them all!

Cleverly designed by John Patterson of The Grates these brooches feature a cheeky bowling pin 'Pinboy', an extremely cute asthma puffer 'Puffer Pal' and even Woody Allen! I noticed gorgeous Patience was wearing the Woody brooch when she was on Talkin' Bout Your Generation the other week - how good is that show!

'Rainbow Airlines' would have to be my ultimate favourite and as soon as I can make it happen, it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

Also, when 'Sniffle Cone' becomes available, that will be mine also.
Check out his interview with Craft Victoria.
A couple of months ago I purchased a wooden Christmas tree decoration of a cassette from the Sniffle Co. etsy page which I only just turned into a brooch today - I felt like it would have been a terrible waste to only see this for one month a year ...

How wonderful is it!

Also, check out this gorgeous wooden button I picked up from Spotlight yesterday which I have also turned into a brooch, whoohoo!

All images (except for the last three crappy quality ones of mine) are from here.

Pan's Holiday
they look delicious don't they!
Hey! Great post! I love the brooches. I was wondering if you could explain how you made the button into a brooch? Thanks so much!
Thank you!
I bought a brooch backing piece from a craft store and glued it to the back of a big button :)
